Kathmandu Valley, an architectural capital city of the country and its alleyway nestled within the various temples and holy places offers a wide range of variety to epicure’s taste bud. predominantly an agrarian country Nepal where believe for “work is worship” and “Atithi devo Bhaba :” (Translated “Guest as a god”) serves you an aromatic lure of freshly prepared local dishes relishing the new experience of local Nepali cuisine which is also nutritionally felicitous.

Let us take you to the true Local Nepali eatery experiences, for the discerning, there are sets of beliefs of a connoisseur to serve on artistic ceramic plates and gracious waiters which is somewhat influenced by western food culture. On the contrary local restaurants are embodied with scrupulous ethnic traditional layouts and exquisitely dish up where generosity is visible while serving you on ‘sal ko duna, tapari or Bota’ (Translated “plate made up of Leaf”). (Note: I have just generalized; plate made up of leaves but there are lots of traditional crockery such as chares ko thal; Plate, glass and bowl made up of copper or bronze, karuwa ,Ankhara, theki, Handi and many more that you may be served in). Now, you may be inquisitive about the place and want to know more about the name of the place but surprisingly you can get access to the Location but not the Name. Why? because this is due to the popularity of that specific local dish at a local place in an indigenous style which itself is a brand so people may keep the place name according to their convenience and which is deeply connected with their traditional identity and lifestyle.

Food has always been an integral part of culture, ethnicity and religion, Kathmandu has been a home town for the multi-ethnic community. Newari cuisine is the most popular in Kathmandu city, Whilst there is a diversified culture as such multiple mouth drooling menus is on your way if you go for the food haunt through crazy streets of Kathmandu. These tours can be managed according to your convenience and interest and can fully be customized according to your time requirements as short as half a day or as long as you want to.
