Itineraries
Day 1 : Arrival to Kathmandu
Once you land in Kathmandu, our team members will receive you from Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) and take you to the hotel. You can take rest, and also overcome jet lag this day. If you happen to be free in the evening, it is okay to take a short trip around Thamel Market. Else, you can simply study about the places that you are about to visit on this day. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 2 : Visit Places of Kathmandu
Having our breakfast, we formally start making into the tour that we had. So, the first thing we start is from Pashupatinath. We visit around and observe the Hindu rituals performed there. Further, we can take a walk for the next half an hour till we reach Boudhanath Stupa. This is a holy place for Buddhists and is amazingly peaceful to be around. Having our lunch, we then set our step further towards Swyambhunath.
Overcoming the traffic jam of Kathmandu, we then reach the bottom of Swyambhunath. This would be a really impressive place, as we get to make a short hike and then reach top enough to see the entire Kathmandu. We then return to Kathmandu Durbar Square and walk up to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel of Kathmandu.
Day 3 : Visit Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square
Having our breakfast, we set this day’s mission to visit Patan Durbar Square. We overcome traffic jams and reach to Patan Durbar Square. We observe the museum there. We find how beautiful it is, and how effective Nepali culture and arts have been. It is listed as of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. There exists Bhimsen Temple, Krishna Temple to be around.
It used to be a palace for Malla Kings back then. Spending some quality time here, we then head towards Bhaktapur Durbar Square. It falls under one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site as well, lying 13 km east of Kathmandu. There are 55 window palace, Vatsala Temple Statue of Bhupatindra Malla, Lion’s Gate, Mini Pashupati Temple to be around. It is peaceful and relaxing enough, and you can opt to sit in a cafe and read the book the whole day.
Or, we can proceed towards Changu Narayan Temple to be around.
Day 4 : Fly to Pokhara and visit around places
On this day we take our first flight to Pokhara and check into the hotel of Pokhara. After getting fresh, we take our trip to Davis’ Fall and Gupteswar Cave. We can prefer to trek up to Peace Stupa or can go in the vehicle itself. We then come down and get back into the hotel. After a short rest, we then enjoy the nightlife of Lake Side thereby. This would be an amazing experience indeed.
Day 5 : Travel around Pokhara
This would be the next day for us to travel around in Pokhara. Early morning we reach Sarangkot to see sunrise and experience paragliding. It would be an amazing experience, after all, to feel how the bird flies around.
After lunch, we then travel around Bat Cave, Mahendra Cave and then head towards Lake Side again. This day we take a boat for full boating experience. In the evening we can opt for a cycling trip
around the city. Overnight at Pokhara.
Day 6 : Ride to Chitwan via bandipur
Although there are flights to Chitwan, it would be a nice experience roadway means too. Again, we get the opportunity to visit South Asia’s longest cave in Bandipur if we happen to take this route and spend time in Bandipur for a while. We take our lunch around in Bandipur and then reach Chitwan crossing Muglin, Narayanghat.
As it would be evening by the time we reach Chitwan, we can relax around the beach of the Rapti river. Don’t be surprised if you happen to see Crocodiles and Rhinos around the river.
Day 7 : Exploring Chitwan
This day we set aside our plan to explore Chitwan. We can begin with morning Jeep Safari into the wilderness of the forest – where we get to see various wild lives. Out in the center, we get to see the crocodile breeding center. After returning, we get ourselves fresh and then we can take some boating package or Jeep Safari experience. You might want to visit Bagmara’s Dovan – where you see two rivers meet. Don’t miss traditional food if you are there. Overnight at Chitwan.
Day 8 : Ride to Lumbini
Early morning, we take our vehicle and head towards Lumbini via Devghat. After around 6 hours of the ride we reach Lumbini – the birthplace of Buddha. We simply walk around the region this day, as we won’t have enough time. It is okay to relax as the temperature would be pretty hot in Lumbini. Overnight at Lumbini.
Day 9 : Exploring Lumbini
We take a rickshaw and start exploring monasteries inside Lumbini. Several monasteries exist built by several nations. Hence, we must explore Lumbini to our fullest. Our rickshaw driver will take us around and finally take us to Maya Devi Temple, where Buddha took birth.
We can enjoy short boating there as well. And then, we see Ashoka Pillar there and get back to our hotel through Rickshaw itself.
Day 10 : Fly to Kathmandu
Reaching the nearest Airport at Bhairawaha, after half an hour of the ride we take our flight to Kathmandu. It’s okay if we decide to explore Kathmandu further. Or, we have to take our flight back home.
Meanwhile, there are other cities – Ilam, which is popular for tea garden; Dharan, Janakpur, Sindhuli, Surkhet, Bardiya, etc to explore having time. They have their own set of beauties.
